About this part
The tank is where the compressor stores air so the car can change height quickly. AirForce’s tank is rated to 200 PSI, which matches the top of the RC controllers’ compressor range, and is machined from one piece on a CNC machine rather than welded up from sections. That gives consistent wall thickness and fewer places for a leak to start.
An air tank spends its life being charged and discharged, so fatigue resistance matters. The one-piece construction and precision sealing are there to cope with that cycle and to keep system pressure stable between top-ups.
The tank is designed to work with a wide range of compressors and air management systems, so it suits an AirForce kit or another brand’s management. Kit tanks are supplied in 14 or 12 litre aluminium, silver or black; if you need a different length or a custom finish, that can be arranged as an option.
