Air bags and struts
Are the rear air bags double-bellow or sleeve bags?
On AirForce kits with separate rear bags (where the rear uses a bag and a separate damper), the rears are double-bellow bags, not sleeve bags. The product page for your vehicle shows which rear design your kit uses.
Do the front struts have camber-adjustable top mounts?
Not as standard. Standard kits are supplied without camber-adjustable top mounts. You can add them when ordering: the P pillow-ball camber top mount (+£160 per pair) or the P+ pillow-ball-with-rubber camber top mount (+£180 per pair). The P+ keeps most of the camber adjustment while damping the noise a solid pillow-ball mount can pass into the cabin.
Is AirForce the same as D2?
AirForce and D2 kits are built to the same specification and price. The part numbers differ: AirForce parts are prefixed AF-, D2 parts AR-. Ordering an AF- part number gets you the AirForce-branded kit.
Ordering and lead time
How long does a kit take?
Strut and bag kits are built to order for your vehicle. Typically three to five weeks from order to your door, including production, freight and UK customs. We confirm the current lead time before you pay. Management kits, compressors, tanks and accessories held in UK stock normally dispatch within two working days.
Can I cancel a kit once it’s ordered?
Off-the-shelf items carry the normal 14-day cancellation right. Strut and bag kits are made to your vehicle and options, so once production has started they can’t be cancelled or returned for change of mind. Cancel before production starts and you’re refunded in full. See our returns and cancellations page.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Yes. UK mainland is tracked and signed-for, with the cost shown at checkout. We deliver to the Republic of Ireland; the Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland may take longer and cost more, which checkout shows before you pay. See delivery.
Fitting and warranty
Can I fit it myself?
We recommend a garage or specialist with air-suspension experience. Most problems we see are fitting problems, and the warranty doesn’t cover them. If you don’t have a fitter, ask us: we know workshops around the UK who fit AirForce regularly. See fitting your kit.
What’s the warranty?
Struts: five years against oil leakage for the original purchaser, on the vehicle they were built for. Bags, management, compressors, tanks and electronics: the manufacturer’s warranty against defects, with the period confirmed on your order paperwork. Labour, downtime and consequential loss aren’t covered. Full details on the warranty page.
Is there a service requirement?
Yes. To keep the five-year strut warranty, struts must be returned to us for service every two years. A service fee applies.
