Warranty

AirForce warranty: five years against oil leakage on struts, two-yearly service, what is and is not covered, and how we handle claims in the UK.

AirForce products carry the manufacturer’s warranty. We handle the whole process for you in the UK.

What the manufacturer covers

  • Struts: five years against oil leakage from the date of purchase, for the original purchaser, on struts fitted to the vehicle they were built for.
  • Air bags, management components, compressors, tanks, controllers and electronics are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty against manufacturing defects; the period is confirmed on your order paperwork.

A defect is a fault in materials or workmanship. The warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective part at the manufacturer’s discretion. It does not cover labour to remove or refit, vehicle downtime or consequential loss.

The two-year service condition

To keep the five-year strut warranty, struts must be returned to us for service every two years from purchase. The service checks seals, replaces wear parts and tests the damper. A service fee applies; we confirm the current fee before you send anything. Struts that miss a service interval fall back to the standard 12-month cover.

What is not covered

  • Wear items: seals, bushes, top mounts, bag rubber, O-rings and filters, once outside the manufacturer’s defect cover.
  • Damage from incorrect fitting, including over-extension, incorrect bag alignment, lines routed against heat or moving parts, or running at a height outside the manufacturer’s range.
  • Misuse: track use without the appropriate damper specification, overloading, off-road use, or running the system with a known leak.
  • Modification of any part, including shortening struts, changing bags, or bypassing the management ECU.
  • Accident damage, corrosion from salt or chemicals, or damage in transit not reported within 48 hours.
  • Cosmetic marks that do not affect function.

How to make a claim

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number, the part affected, photographs or video of the fault, and the vehicle mileage.
  2. We will tell you whether we can resolve it from UK stock or need to return the part to the manufacturer.
  3. Where a return is needed, we arrange collection, liaise with the manufacturer and keep you updated. We give you an estimated turnaround when we book the repair in.

Where a part is in UK stock we will do our best to get you back on the road quickly; we will agree the arrangement with you before anything is shipped.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them. If goods are faulty, your legal remedies against us as the seller apply whether or not the manufacturer’s warranty covers the fault.
